Test Infrastructure & Automation Student
About The Position
Chain Reaction designs and builds hardware that fuels disruptive blockchain technologies by accelerating compute performance. Our world-class teams are transforming the future of data, creating the infrastructure that will power the next generation of secure, scalable, green computing. The main bottleneck in scaling cutting-edge solutions in privacy tech, data analysis, and real-time computing is acceleration – existing hardware cannot keep up with data processing needs. Chain Reaction’s products reshape how data is processed and used on a global scale, and we’re looking for the brightest people to join us.
The System VnV team ensures our complex hardware-software products meet their intended requirements and function correctly before release. Our work plays a crucial role in ensuring quality assurance and mitigating risk with a strong focus on automation, data-driven insights, and cross-functional collaboration with development and hardware teams.
We are looking for a motivated and curious student to support our infrastructure and automation efforts. You’ll help develop testing tools, integrate lab test equipment, and explore AI-based insights for smarter test analysis.
You'll be exposed to advanced lab setups, real-time testing systems, and tools that support product release decisions, all while being part of a high-performance engineering culture.
This is an ideal role for a student studying engineering or computer science, eager to gain real-world experience in system validation and automation.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test infrastructure.
- Develop tools to simulate, validate, and verify complex hardware/software systems.
- Develop software interfaces to control and monitor test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, power supplies, signal generators, protocol analyzers).
- Integrate AI/ML models for test optimization, log analysis, anomaly detection, root cause identification, and system insight.
- Create dashboards, reports, and intelligent insights from test data and logs.
Requirements
- BSc student in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field with at least 3 semesters remaining.
- Average grade of 85+ from a recognized university (a resume without a grades sheet will not be considered)
- Availability for 3 working days per week.
- Interest in test engineering, automation, and system-level validation.
Preferred
- Familiarity with AI/ML tools (e.g., scikit-learn, PyTorch) or log analysis techniques.
- Experience developing automated tests (Python/C++) in multidisciplinary projects involving both hardware and software.
- Basic understanding of system validation methodologies and tools.
- Experience in test equipment (e.g., oscilloscope, power analyzer, logic analyzer).
